While taking a stroll in a local park in Coral Springs, I wandered into the Butterfly Garden. I had unsuccessfully taken photos of some moths and dragonflies. However on my way out, a Monarch butterfly perched on this flower and posed for me! I zoomed in all the way. I love how the butterfly is in focus while the background is blurred.

Some people eat to live, but i live to eat. This last semester, my girlfriend spend some time abroad in Florence Italy, she had a great time learning about different aspects of Italian culture, especially cooking. Everybody likes pizza... Upon my girlfriend's arrival back home, I felt inspired to create my own pizza! I made everything from scratch, and even used fresh dough from a local grocery store. I made the sauce using San Marzano tomatoes, sauteed onions and garlic, with some fresh herbs. I also put some slices of fresh mozzarella on top.(and of course fresh basil!) For a first time pizza, this came out amazing! I will definitely be making it again soon.
